Email Setup in Outlook 2013
to set up your TPG email address in Outlook 2013, simply follow the steps below.

Open Outlook and click File in the top left-hand corner of the screen.

Select Info from the left-hand list and then click Add Account.

In the pop-up window, make sure Manual setup or additional server types is selected and click Next.

Make sure the following settings are entered in the Account Settings wizard:
Your name: Your name as you'd like it to appear on any emails you send
E-mail address: Your TPG email address
Account Type: POP3
Incoming mail server: mail.tpg.com.au
Outgoing mail server: mail.tpg.com.auUser Name: Your TPG email address
Password: Your tpg email address password
Remember Password: Ticked
Require logon using SPA: Unticked -
Click More Settings in the lower right-hand corner.

Select the Outgoing Server tab and tick My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication. Make sure that you've selected "Use same settings as my incoming mail server".

Click the Advanced tab and then enter the following settings:
Incoming server (POP3): 995
This server requires an encrypted connection (SSL): Ticked
Outgoing server (SMTP): 465
Type of encrypted connection: SSL -
Click OK.

Click Next. Microsoft Outlook will attempt to log on to the email server and send a test email using your account.

The test should run successfully. Click Close and then Finish. Close the Account Settings window to finish.
Note: If you have any issues connecting to the Outgoing server (SMTP), close the test and go back into More Settings, click Advanced and change the encrypted connection to TLS. Click OK then Next to re-test. - If your setup was successful, a test email from Microsoft Outlook should arrive in your inbox.
